Take Charge of Your Health-How To Guide

     Your health is an investment. It is one of the most important things to prioritize if you want to live a life that is in alignment with the purest form of yourself! Here are a few easy ways to enhance your health! 

     1.) Prioritize nourishment! Most people are overfed and undernourished because the foods consumed are not in alignment with the way that the body was designed to function. When we consume the foods with the least amount of ingredients, our body has to work through less interference to receive proper nutrition. Choosing whole, organic foods, with an abundance of fat, protein, and carbohydrates. Eating a well rounded nutrition plan, will decrease your chances of coming face to face with out of control cravings, and binge episodes. Eat to nourish the body.  

     2.) Daily movement! This does not mean having to spend one hour in the gym everyday. It could be as simple as waking up 15 minutes early in the morning to take a brisk walk, stretch, or do a few jumping jacks. Anything that works to get the heart pumping blood through the body also stimulates the lymphatic system. When we stimulate the lymphatic system, we are helping the body filter out toxins and viruses. Keeping your immune system stronger, and happier! 

     3.) Spend more time outside! Connecting with earth is one of the most healing modalities you can do for the body. The earth's frequency is set to heal, and when we step into a state of connection with the healing frequency, our body also receives the opportunity to heal! Whether that be taking your lunch break to eat outside, or spend some time in the evening in a community garden, neighborhood walk, or visiting your closest nature trail! Step outside, breath, and absorb the healing that surrounds you! 

     5.) Detox your body. This is essential when it comes to your health! Unfortunately, as humans, we are constantly exposed to toxins from water, the air, pesticides sprayed on food, etc. It is important to do what you can to detox from exposures, whether that be through a heavy metal detox program, or eating herbs and foods that naturally detox the body. Foods like cilantro, lemons, ginger, turmeric, walnuts, berries, onions, and garlic are all amazing foods that enhance the detox pathways of the body! Detoxing is so important to keep you feeling your best! 

     Prioritizing your health may seem daunting at first, but by having a plan in place to follow as a guide, it can make the change a little less overwhelming. The goal is to make changes gradually so that they may be sustainable for long term success. We want the changes that we make to be permanent because consistency is key! Without that steady, smooth flow, we might not ever get to where the body desires to be! Try out these simple steps to take charge of your health!
