Afton Montgomery

Afton is a yoga teacher at Veda Yoga in Los Angeles and a student at the University of Southern California, finishing up a dual degree in Environmental Science and Creative Writing. She has spent time studying and doing research all over the world, including stints in Belize, New Zealand, France, and Catalina Island. Off the mat and outside of the classroom, she writes and performs poetry, builds aquaponics systems and works on urban farming education, and guides backpacking trips for students. Her passions are sustainability, hot tea, downward dog, and dancing around in her Buddha Pants!
