5 Quick Recipes to Give Your Morning a Boost

Everyone knows that your morning food routine is one of the most important of the day. But why spend a lot of time in the kitchen to get your energy going? These 5 recipes are not only delicious, but they’re super fast to make! Bon Apetit!
1. Banana Oat Breakfast Bites
2 ripe bananas
2 cups rolled oats
¼ cup almond butter (or peanut butter, or your favorite nut butter)
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Mash your bananas and toss in the rest of your ingredients into the bowl and mix. Once combined, scoop them into balls and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and enjoy! Bananas are loaded with vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber for that morning boost!
2. Green Smoothie for Energy!
Frozen Pineapple and Frozen Banana
Grated Ginger to taste
Fresh Spinach (a few handfuls)
Throw everything in the blender and blend until smooth! Since the fruit is frozen, no ice cubes are needed!
3. Energy Boosting Trail Mix!
1 Cup of: Almonds, Walnuts, Cashews, Chocolate Chips
1 ½ Cup Raisins
½ cup of Sunflower seeds
½ Cup Coconut Flakes
Pour ingredients into a 1 gallon Ziploc bag, shake, and eat!
4. Super-Awesome Breakfast Toast
Wheat or Whole-Grain Bread
Avocado or Guacamole
Toast your bread of choice. Heat Refried Beans and fry or poach your egg. Spread beans on toast; add egg, salsa, and avocado. Enjoy!
5. Put the Lime In The Coconut!
1-Cup Raw Cashews
Juice of a Lime
Mash dates and cashews in a food processor until dough forms. Add lime juice and coconut and zest. Form into balls or pack in ice cube trays. Store in the fridge and eat!
