We’ve all been there. We arrive to our new destination and frantically google, “Yoga Studios,” only to find that when we arrive it’s a toss up. I’ve been the guinea pig in this experiment for you, so put down your phone (After you read this) and look no further.
Here are my top 5 yoga studios in the USA
This studio has it all from meditation to hot and steamy power. There are big names at this studio and you might feel star struck when you enter the always packed studio. Boulder, Colorado’s yoga scene is highly competitive. YOU HAVE to be a really good teacher to have a class with your name on it. This is a guaranteed win.
Swan River was birth out of the tragic natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina. The owners of this studio sought to bring the community back together through mindfulness, meditation, & asana. It’s architecture is reminiscent of South East Asian & European influences combined in it’s painted blue building with white pillars. You are sure to be swept away by this studios inner and outer beauty.
This is a studio with all of the frills. If you’re looking for an exciting, consciously collective Cali vibe, this is your spot. From their trademark flow sequences, restorative yin, and in house DJs, you will leave each class feeling enlivened and utterly blissed out! This is a total must see when in the Hollywood area.
This studio has grown in numbers since the owner, Sid, started growing this awesome donation based Baltimore tribe in a church basement. His studio offers teacher trainings, meditation, heated and traditional vinyasa Nahi Warrior Flow classes, but what really sets Sid Yoga apart is the community and well… SID. Sid’s story is nothing short of insiprational. From injured athlete to succesful studio owner, public speaker, author, and musician… you can not help but gravitate to the Sid Yoga scene. With 3 locations near Baltimore, you really do feel that the yoga scene here has raised a lot of awareness through out. This is a story of yoga touching the lives of many through sheer passion… this place should also be known as, “Follow your heart.”
Yoga to the People offers affordable classes with TONS of HOT options. The beauty of this place is the core value which asks, “ Can a yoga studio maintain itself as a business while keeping the focus of its intention on providing yoga as a service first and foremost?”Their response,”e want to make it possible for everyone to do yoga regardless of economic limitations. Yoga is meant to help strengthen and stretch your arms and legs, not cost you one!” This studio truly does bring yoga to the people.
